Snowy night swim at Barcraigs Reservoir

Night swimming…

Couldn’t wait until the weekend for a swim so decided to head up to Barcraigs after work tonight. Managed to find a head torch plus a camping lantern but actually didn’t really need them as the night was so clear. It was well worth the effort.

Looking forward to swimming here together when restrictions ease but definitely enjoying the benefits of one wild swimming husband’s forays into cold water immersion...a few months ago he’d have thought I was crazy for suggesting dooking in a freezing cold reservoir at night in the snow!
